We are excited to announce that Granville High School will implement a free Strength and Conditioning Program focused on supporting the health, performance, and overall well-being of our students and student-athletes.
This program will be available to all 7 - 12 grade students interested in improving strength, speed, mobility, and overall physical fitness within a safe, structured, and supervised environment.
The program will be offered after school from 2:15–3:00 PM, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday when school is in session, in the Jr/Sr High weight room, beginning January 5th, 2026.
The goal of this program is to provide age-appropriate training that builds confidence, improves athletic performance, and promotes lifelong healthy habits. All sessions will be supervised by certified coaching staff who are trained to ensure proper technique, injury prevention, and individualized progression for each student.
Program Highlights:
● Supervised, safe, and structured training environment
● Focus on strength, speed, agility, and conditioning
● Emphasis on proper technique and injury prevention
● Open to all student/athletes in improving fitness
● Training Frequency: 3 sessions per week
● Session Duration: 45 Minutes (2:15-3:00 PM)
This program will start January 5th, 2026 and run throughout the rest of the school year into the summer with additional specific dates and times shared by coaches and the trainer. Participation is encouraged for all athletes and students regardless of sport or skill level.
We believe this program will be a valuable addition to our athletic department and will support both the physical and mental development of our students. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Gabby Hunt, Athletic Director at ghunt@granvillecsd.org.
